THE MINISTRY OF THE PROPHETS (PART 1)
GENERAL OVERVIEW

“I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets” Hos.12:10
A prophet is given as a voice of the Lord. He is a person ordained to see visions, dreams or trance concerning people whether past, present or future. He is also given the grace to understand and interpret parables, fables and mysteries unknown to the common man.
God called prophets to act as an intermediary between Him and man. It is the role of a prophet to give the rhema (most recent and relevant) message of the Lord to any individual. They are instruments of God to redeem man from the affliction/ bondage of the devil.
“And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved” Hos. 12:13
Prominent prophets in the bible were Abraham, Moses, David, Daniel, Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah est. Even today, we have prophets among us. It is our duty to decipher the true from false. Listen and obey them, as obedience will catapult us to our God-given destination
Deception is not an excuse for failure because all men God shall judge.
